Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DevStorage (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use DevStorage (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and a hashed password when you register.
- Billing information: subscription and payment status. Card details are handled directly by our payment processor (Razorpay) and are not stored on our servers.
- Content you upload: the files and associated metadata you store through the Service.
- Usage and technical data: API requests, storage and bandwidth usage, IP addresses, request identifiers, and error diagnostics used to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- process payments and manage subscriptions;
- send transactional emails (verification, password resets, receipts, and account notices);
- enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and secure the Service;
- comply with legal obligations.
3. Service providers
We share data with trusted processors only as needed to run the Service:
- Cloudflare R2 — object storage for your uploaded files;
- MongoDB Atlas — database for account and usage records;
- Razorpay — payment processing;
- Resend — transactional email delivery;
- Sentry — error monitoring and diagnostics.
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
4. Data retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data and uploaded content within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and scoped API keys. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@devstorage.io.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the dashboard. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
